Join the planets of our solar system as they face an unknown challenge where the only solution is to work together and put their differences aside. Will they be able to come together in the end?

How do we navigate and resolve difficult problems or challenges? As a society, the key takeaway from global issues is the importance of working together and setting aside our differences to achieve shared solutions. If the Planets Could Speak was inspired by the recent global pandemic, an event that greatly impacted the world which our children live in. These were undoubtedly difficult times as a society and brought lasting global impacts for kids to navigate.

About The Author

A woman is teaching a puppet show to children sitting on the floor with their attention focused on her, in a bookstore or library setting with shelves of books and stuffed animals around.

A mom of three boys and a former teacher, Haleigh Elizabeth has always believed in the power of a good story to spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

When I stepped away from the classroom, I quickly realized how much she missed teaching, connecting with children, and creating those little moments of discovery. Writing became my way to bring that passion back into my life and into the hands of young readers.

Today, I create stories that encourage children to wonder, explore, learn, and dream big, inspired by the everyday adventures of raising three boys.

“It was very engaging for the students. They [students] loved the scribble part and making it into something real! You can tell she is a teacher and she used her teacher ‘skills’ with the kids.”

“The visit engaged students and faculty alike! Haleigh brought the personal touch to her presentation.”

“Very hands on with the kids and encouraged them to participate, but appropriately. You can tell she had experience with kids.”
